This 3 day course, taught by an experienced and seasoned law enforcement expert in this field, provides the essential elements of evaluating, planning, and conducting an executive protection operation. Emphasis is placed on proactive approaches to each element, including theory, functionality, locality, and team composition.
Topics to be addressed:
Participants will learn concepts which include:
· route analysis,
· motorcade operations and foot formations,
· firearms fundamentals while protecting a principal, and
· advance operational planning.
Within the operation planning session consideration will be given to include scheduled routes, arrival/departures to and from visit sites, and high- and low-profile operations.
This course includes analysis of attack & assassination case studies and practical exercises covering all key aspects of executive protection operations.
Who Should Attend:
This course is appropriate for any law enforcement or private security officers called upon to provide executive protection, including assisting others with responsibilities of protecting visiting dignitaries.
